Feeling: excited

King Tut exhibit was amazing *u* Brother was as apathetic as ever, breezed through everything, didn't look at anything closely, didn't read a single informational card, just glanced at everything then sat down on a bench to wait for Mum to catch up. .__. When asked what his favorite thing he saw today was "Nothing that I care to remember"
And we went to the EMP/Scifi museum and there was some awesome stuff there too so... :I

look at that face and that burd it's so precious sdkjfhsdkjfhsdf *u*

This was so pretty *u*
and Tut's stomach was apparently stored inside this

Cat sarcophagus

This coffin was SO COOL
All down the sides and back were these really subtle carved feathers, you couldn't quite see them until the light caught them at just the right angle

The rest of the pictures I took are over here password: cleocatra

And finally a couple souvenirs~ Another tin for me and a Cleocatra for Tsuuuuuuu c:

One of these objects doesn't quite belong.
And yet it does.

And then after a quick lunch we hiked over to the EMP for the first time ever! :D

Creature models for Avatar, the Banshee was neat *u*

Character busts

The room

BABYYYYYY <3333333 ksdjfsdhfkjasdhkjsdfhsjkfh look at it ;v; A real Dalek <3333

Sentinel from Matrix

Anubis mask from Stargate, this was really neat *u*

uwu <3 dalek bb ilu

But you know what else I love

Horror movies. 8D

The first demon from Constantine

Freddy glove from the 5th movie

Awwww cutie baby horrible awful monster <3

Size comparison I guess because no flash means it's hard to pose with a thing in a dark room

Handle from the cane from the old Wolfman movie

Mask and machete from the 2009 remake of Friday the 13th :D
The actor who plays Sam Winchester on Supernatural (Jared Padalecki) was in this remake hahaha. He survives. Good job character whose name I don't remember! :D

pkmn- EspyEgyptian

Holy crap, where to begin.

OH YEAH. BB! *wibbles and clings* When you showed me the pic of the Cleocatra on Twitter I was like OMG HOW CAN I GET ONE I HAVE TO FIND OUT IF I CAN ORDER ONE SOMEWHERE and then I come here and bawwwwwwwww. *sniffles and hugs so hard* Seriously I am so touched and I am having a mild panic attack at the awesomeness and how sweet you are. ;;

As for the artifacts, I am in HEAVEN looking at these pictures. There were no Osiris statues of that size at the exhibits I saw in Philly, so it is awesome to see these! Also the cat sarcophagus is amazing. I would die to spend like an hour upclose examining that. Perused your photobucket folder, and my Kemetic and Egyptophile self was geeking and blissing out hardcore. I'm definitely going to look through those pictures more carefully and slowly later. So much to savour. :D

Your collection was already amazing but dat "real lief" Desukaan made it even cooler, hehe.

All the rest is so amazing, holy crap. Nerd heaven. The Avatar stuff is so gorgeous. Love the stuff from The Matrix, Stargate, and Doctor Who too, of course. (My fave though is the Burr exhibit, so pretteh and makes me happeh. :D ) But I legit jumped as I scrolled and the demon from Constantine popped up, haha. I love that movie so much but I wasn't expecting that so I was like WAT. And of course Alien stuff is the shit and I am dying over the awesome.

Editing to add: Your brother sounds SO much like my brother, guh. How old is he? Mine is 16 and he seriously takes no joy in anything. He just sits and plays games and that's it. Everything else bores him. Blah. :/

Pokemon- BUGHUGS

I wish I could have gotten better photos but there was no flash allowed and a lot of the smaller items were behind glass so flash wouldn't have helped much anyway haha
I'm actually surprised at how well most of the photos turned out. :)

Ahaha yesss I heard whispers of a horror movie exhibit at the EMP ages ago and really wanted to go but forgot about it. I was so happy to see it was still there *u* Was not expecting to see all those movie props and stuff it was so neat aaaah I wish we had spent more time in there sitting down and watching all the videos they had but we had the rest of the museum to walk through and it was closing in a couple hours.

Yeah brother is 17, maybe it's just a guy thing? He doesn't even seem to be all that interested in his games anymore. He rarely ever touches the console or handheld systems anymore. He plays computer things all day, but if he's not playing them he has as of this school year taken to laying in bed taking naps in the middle of the day because he is "bored" (I'd say it's just because he never gets enough sleep but he does it even on the weekends when he does get plenty of sleep). And he is the most impossible thing to get out of bed once he's in there, the only way we seem to get him up is by saying breakfast or dinner is ready and even then @__@

Doctor Who - Dalek Trash Receptacle

How could your brother just buzz through the King Tut exhibit?! Is he mad or just plan stupid?! There was an Ancient Egyptian exhibit in Baltimore, that my Dad took me to. I spent hours photographing and reading about all the artifacts! That Cleocatra plush is adorable, I'll have to see if I can find one online...;)

EMP looks like another place I would love to visit, it is nerd heaven!! I thought the sign by the Dalek was amusing!

"thus overcoming one of their main obstacles to galactic domimation: stairs."

Other then your brother being a butt, it looks like you had a great time...:D

How cool! They sure used a lot of gold on those artifacts, didn't they! Must be something to see in person.

There is an Egyptian exhibit at our local Museum of Science running now too, I've got to get myself over there sometime before it ends!
